WellSky Transfusion Report Writing training takes Transfusion clients through discussion, demonstration, and a hands-on approach to create and modify reports used with WellSky Transfusion using SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services). Join us for this two-day training session to learn how to get the most out of your Report Writing.

Detailed Overview – Day 1

This day will start with an introduction into Report Writing. Topics that will be covered include: the SSRS Web Portal Overview, how to access and navigate the Report Builder, how to modify an existing report with Report Builder, best practices in report writing, and learning resources. Day One will be four hours in length with breaks.

Detailed Overview – Day 2

This day will cover more in-depth report writing techniques. Topics that will be covered include: Managing Reports, creating a new dataset, adding a Tablix (Matrix, Table, or List), creating a new report in Report Builder, scheduling reports, Transfusion Slip design, graphs, sub-reports, and many others. Day Two will be six hours in length with breaks.

Prerequisites

This technical level course is intended for IT/LIS resources with SSRS report writing experience, and/or a background knowledge of databases and writing queries.

Attendees should be added to all 3 report writing security groups defined for WellSky Transfusion in your AD (Active Directory).

Requirements

Class format is to be viz Zoom with instructor to demonstrate in a training environment.

Preferred that attendees have access to dual monitor workstations or be in a training/conference room with larger TV/monitor connected to Zoom as well as their workstations. This way the attendee can share their screen when encountering problems or having questions during hands-on training.

Continuing Education Credits

WellSky is approved as a provider of continuing education programs in the clinical laboratory sciences by the ASCLS P.A.C.E. Program. P.A.C.E. Provider Number: 517. This course is approved for CA licensed clinical laboratory scientists and personnel. CA Agency Number: 0001. Participants will each receive 10 contact hours for the 2-day program.
