WellSky Transfusion Application Training

Join us in-person OR virtually to learn about how to get the most out of your WellSky Transfusion solution.Whether you are brand new to Transfusion or looking for a big-picture overview, this five-day training session accommodates beginner and intermediate skill levels. This course is divided into easy-to-understand blocks that are paired with flowcharts and hands-on training opportunities. This class is designed to help attendees remember the best practices and stay engaged with the material. Please note this course requires you to utilize your own internal training environment/server if you wish to participate in the practical exercises.

Detailed Overview

The first 4 days cover the WellSky Transfusion Application with real “hands-on” exercises that allow each participant to practice in WellSky’s own training environment, currently on version 2022 R2. The last day will cover the basics of the Configurator. This session is a general introduction and overview of the Configurator. Time is allotted for a general Q&A session and sharing of ideas.

Objectives:

This PACE-eligible class (34 contact hours) is considered an intermediate-level training event. The program is designed for users who are responsible for working daily in the WellSky Transfusion Application solution. Supplemental materials are included in an online companion course in the WellSky Training Center.

Personnel

Who should attend?

Most of the training week is spent on in-depth, hands on, blood bank application training. Very little time is spent on configuration training. WellSky Transfusion Application Training is of a beginner to intermediate level and designed primarily for immediate users of the application. This course is best suited for Blood Bank Technologist, Managers, Super Users, future trainers of the Application solution, and anyone needing training in the Application solution.

This class is strictly for immediate users of the application. For this reason, the following personnel should not attend:
